PPE & Hazard Assessment Planning — Learning from Real Jobsite Events

Earlier this month, a local project experienced a small fire caused by welding too close to stored insulation. Thankfully, no injuries occurred — but it served as an important reminder of why hazard awareness, pre-task planning, and hot work controls are essential on every site.

During this session, we’ll cover:
✅ How to conduct effective PPE hazard assessments
✅ Hot work safety and fire watch requirements (NFPA 51B)
✅ Real lessons learned from the recent insulation fire event
✅ Practical steps to improve daily field safety reviews
