Mark will be presenting on NFPA 70E: Electrical Safety in Construction, with a focus on recognizing electrical hazards, understanding shock, arc flash, and arc blast exposures, and applying safe work practices in the field.
This session will provide practical insight for both safety professionals and construction team members who may encounter electrical hazards on active jobsites. Topics will include electrical risk assessment, energized work considerations, lockout/tagout principles, PPE selection, emergency response, and the importance of establishing an electrically safe work condition before work begins. Whether you work directly with electrical systems or oversee crews exposed to these hazards, this presentation will offer valuable takeaways to help reduce risk and strengthen jobsite safety awareness.
