Speaker: Ronald G. Miller, Jr., CSHO (Dual), CCHM
Ron is a seasoned safety and risk management professional with over 25 years of experience in construction, general industry, government, and healthcare. He is a dual Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Certified Healthcare Manager (CCHM), OSHA Authorized Trainer, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 certified.

For 13 years, Ron served as Environmental, Health & Safety Manager for Collier County Government, where he led countywide programs in occupational health, disaster preparedness, and risk management. His leadership reduced incident rates, strengthened resilience planning, and advanced innovative safety initiatives that continue to shape best practices across the region.

Today, Ron serves as a Safety Consultant with UES’s Building Sciences & Safety team, where he provides fractional safety leadership, program development, site audits, and risk management strategies to help organizations strengthen compliance, improve safety culture, and reduce exposure.
